Foam Damsel

A buoyant damsel imitation designed to mimic adult damselflies and emerging nymphs near the surface. The foam body keeps the fly riding high while still looking natural.

Best For: Stillwater trout fishing, damselfly hatches in late spring and summer, Fishing over weed beds and along shorelines

How to Fish It: Fish with short strips or a slow hand-twist retrieve along weed lines and shallow bays. It can also be twitched gently on the surface to imitate a struggling damsel.

Why We Like It: The foam body adds excellent visibility and flotation, making it easy to track while still triggering aggressive takes from trout feeding on damsels.
