Rope A Dope Stonefly

How to Fish It:

Fish it as the lead fly in a nymph rig or under an indicator, drifting it deep through riffles, runs, and rocky pocket water where trout hold near the bottom.

Best For:

Spring through early summer when stonefly nymphs are active, or anytime trout are feeding deep in fast water.
