Foam Cricket

When trout are keyed in on terrestrials, a Foam Cricket is hard to beat. This simple but deadly pattern floats all day, even in choppy water, and gives fish an easy, protein-packed target. Perfect for summer creeks and grassy banks where crickets tumble into the current. 

How to fish it: Cast tight to the bank or under overhanging grass and let it drift naturally. Give it the occasional twitch to mimic a struggling insect - trout can't resist that movement
